Mercury Systems, Inc., a technology company delivering mission-critical processing power to the edge, has entered into a long-term strategic supply agreement with Cicor Group, a European provider of aerospace and defense electronics.
As part of the agreement, Cicor will acquire Mercury’s board manufacturing operation located in Plan-Les-Ouates, Switzerland, and supply Mercury with electronic products over the next five years. The collaboration is designed to scale production capacity, enhance supply chain resilience, and support Mercury’s expanding role in the European and international defense markets.

Mercury Mission Systems International S.A. is a key provider of mission-critical processing products for the international aerospace and defense industry. With increasing global demand for commercial defense technologies, Mercury will transition its Swiss board manufacturing operations to Cicor. This will allow Mercury’s facilities in Switzerland, Spain, and the United Kingdom to concentrate on their core competencies in engineering design and systems integration. This strategic focus is expected to support the company’s next phase of international growth.
The transaction is expected to close within approximately one month, pending customary closing conditions, including end customer consents. Cicor will assume ownership of the Plan-Les-Ouates facility and its 34 employees. Over the next 18 months, production will be relocated to Cicor’s existing sites in Newport, United Kingdom, and Bronschhofen, Switzerland.
Mercury has committed to procure from Cicor a volume of products with a total value in the high double-digit million CHF range over the five-year term. In parallel, Mercury will continue sourcing electronic boards from its U.S. operations to maintain a robust and diversified global supply chain. Both companies have indicated their intention to further expand the partnership in the years ahead, unlocking additional revenue potential and collaborative opportunities.
“Mercury remains dedicated to delivering mission-critical processing capabilities to the European and global aerospace and defense sector,” said Paul Tanner, Vice President of Mercury International. “This agreement with Cicor will allow us to scale quickly to meet the growing demand for leading-edge commercial processing technologies around the world.”
